Psalm 64 ~ what God has brought 'about'

Bernard Finegan Gribble, Defeat of the Spanish Armada
About is a Naval Term for Turn Around

Psalm 64

Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint;
preserve my life from dread of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
    from the throng of evildoers,
3 who whet their tongues like swords,
who aim bitter words like arrows,
4 shooting from ambush at the blameless,
shooting at him suddenly and without fear.
5 They hold fast to their evil purpose;
they talk of laying snares secretly,
thinking, “Who can see them?”
6 They search out injustice,
saying, “We have accomplished a diligent search.”

For the inward mind and heart of a man are deep.

7 But God shoots his arrow at them;
    they are wounded suddenly.
8 They are brought to ruin, with their own tongues turned against them;
all who see them will wag their heads.

9 Then all mankind fears;
they tell what God has brought about
and ponder what he has done.

10 Let the righteous one rejoice in the Lord
    and take refuge in him!

Let all the upright in heart exult!

One of The Promises of God.
Is Trouble. All mankind fears. All.

We all want troubles to be small and far away.
Unfortunately, Trouble is more like Kodiak Bear Surprise.

If we live in a cabin, we don't decide to play with grown Kodiak Bears. Suddenly. With the Vaccine in sight, we need our due diligence. The Exodus is all about people being tired of the journey. We don't have 40 years, we have mostly until Spring!

Our family friend, Dee, has been a physician for 50 years. Her last position lasted for more than a decade, she was the Physician in Charge of Medical Policy, Procedure and Oversight for Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Texas. Now retired and sharp as always, her research has told her to avoid the Virus. This Covid Virus has aspects of Polio. We can say 'surprise' medical complications cause death. But the truth is, death can be shocking near Covid. Death rates are down, but you don't know what you will do if you have this. There is a report today of a young woman dying in her College Dorm Room. And the question will be answered with a required massive autopsy.

The Virus can be understood how to be mitigated. What is going on involves boredom, a sense of luck for ourselves and medical advancement. Don't give in to ennui!!!!!!

Wash your hands, mask up, stand 6 feet back.
Be conscientiously, optimistically, cautious.

Bravely ask the chin only wearing mask wearer to pull up the mask. Two people were arrested on a plane going to Hawaii. They'd tested Positive for Covid, butt felt they were too young to be asked to help everyone else. Be safe for everyone.

Abba, Father,

Dwell in us.
Help us to Seek You First.
To see and be more Heaven on earth.

This Holiday Season has seen a part-time employee steal
from my mother who has Alzheimer's.
The part-time employee didn't seek other solutions to an unemployment situation
in her home, nor ask her own family to help her.
This has taken weeks of time with upset surrounding all of us.

Mother told us she filed her taxes, and we found she hadn't.
She visited her Accountant about her property taxes, he doesn't take care of.
This is months in the fixing for four years.

My sons are employed now.  Thank God.
But the far away son needed assistance and this took several weeks.

We received a new email tonight about another family member distressed and lost.

The Holidays seem to stir us all up.

We pray for Calm. We pray for Expectation.
The Joy of God's Plan bringing us all Strength.

This Season we all seem to be propelled by forces we don't control.
These are the Days of Believing God is working.
This is not the time to forgo Prayer.
This is when you repeat The Lord's Prayer knowing the people who pray and are called “Healers” say unrelenting, hopeful prayer brings results

In the 1980s, Extensive Tests were conducted over Hospital Patients who wanted prayer and had prayer and those who would prefer no prayer.
The Prayed for Patients were incredibly more healthy and optimistic.
Let's pray with the people who will allow a phone call for prayer. Hold them in your heart.

Pray for the Nation.
Our Families and those unborn need our Freedoms.
Our Families Fought and Died for our Freedoms. Cherish Freedom.
We need reliable Media and News.
Reliably keep one another safe.

Pray for our President Trump, Vice-President Pence
and their families. The People in our Legislatures.
Our Governors.

Believe that as the Virus leaves and we have healing,
Calm minds and deliberate kindnesses will prevail.

Pray the Love of Jesus Christ dwells in those we Love
and in our Families. His Love and Encouragement and Hope.
His Plans for us are a Hope and Future.
Pray for Good Health.

We Believe, We Believe, We Believe,
We Believe, We Believe, We Believe in Love.

Jesus Christ, Son of God
Triumphant.
Thank You, Jesus,
Amen.

Mark 12 ~ Have you not read this in Scripture: †

National Geographic Photo Winner

Mark 12

And he began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower, and leased it to tenants and went into another country. When the season came, he sent a servant to the tenants to get from them some of the fruit of the vineyard. And they took him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent to them another servant, and they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully. And he sent another, and him they killed. And so with many others: some they beat, and some they killed. He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ And they took him and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard. What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others. Have you not read this Scripture:

“‘The stone that the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone;
this was the Lord's doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

And they were seeking to arrest him but feared the people, for they perceived that he had told the parable against them. So they left him and went away.

And they sent to him some of the Pharisees and some of the Herodians, to trap him in his talk. And they came and said to him, “Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care about anyone's opinion. For you are not swayed by appearances, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should we pay them, or should we not?”

But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, “Why put me to the test? Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.” And they brought one. And he said to them, “Whose likeness and inscription is this?”

They said to him, “Caesar's.”

Jesus said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” And they marveled at him.

And Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection.
And they asked him a question, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother. There were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and when he died left no offspring. And the second took her, and died, leaving no offspring. And the third likewise. And the seven left no offspring. Last of all the woman also died. In the resurrection, when they rise again, whose wife will she be? For the seven had her as wife.”

Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living. You are quite wrong.”

And one of the scribes came up and heard them disputing with one another, and seeing that he answered them well, asked him, “Which commandment is the most important of all?”

Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” And the scribe said to him, “You are right, Teacher. You have truly said that he is one, and there is no other besides him. And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” And after that no one dared to ask him any more questions.

And as Jesus taught in the temple, he said, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David? David himself, in the Holy Spirit, declared,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord,
“Sit at my right hand,
until I put your enemies under your feet.”’

David himself calls him Lord. So how is he his son?”
And the great throng heard him gladly.

And in his teaching he said, “Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes and like greetings in the marketplaces and have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts, who devour widows' houses and for a pretense make long prayers. They will receive the greater condemnation.”

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

The music begins about minute 2:10. The Silence is time for Prayer.

Let's look at this Chapter of Mark's eyewitness Gospel for today.
God always intends His Word to build us up, encourage us, give us Father God's viewpoint. Help us up. Love Him as He loves us.

Year 2020, we have all felt beaten up this year.
And with so many cares, we wonder about the Love God has for us to be unappreciated. We worry about separating from God's Love and trying to make a foolish way ahead. And when we love Father God, we want to share His Encouragement.

Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone is only, purely, Comfort, Love, and Joy.
We pray for Hearts to have Him invited in for His encouragement. For the people who had prayed every day, the 80% who are weary and have become 55%. Father God encourage, Love and build those who are in doubt.

The Scriptures record all of life is fraught with dangers, snares and trouble.

“This was the Lord's doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes”

Bell Tower, Prison Cell, Tower of London

This Portion of the Bible was quoted after Elizabeth I found herself to be made Queen.
After weeks of fearing the arrival of the Guard to arrest and kill her. Elizabeth was escaping the Tower, escaping her mother's fate. Solomon was known to write about our struggles are part of God's Plan and Help His Purpose. The New Testament says nothing overcomes us He doesn't know about.
We draw strength from being God's Child and pleasing God. Nothing is impossible to God. Blessed are the merciful, they obtain Mercy. Elizabeth I was known to rely on God daily. She wasn't expected to survive brutal headaches. Known to having lived past several attempts on her life, one Caesar after another, one attempt was a deadly poisoned dress. After jilting the former Spanish King brother-in-law, then wedding suitor,  then the Spanish Armada was to ruin the entire Nation.

Instead, Elizabeth thrived saying she would not put rules upon the Hearts of the Nation. They should Love  God in their hearts. And it was only 'the Wind' which saved her entire Navy from the Spanish Navy. Giving her freedoms the chance to explore the New World more entirely than all others. An entire continent, from this phrase. The people blessed with God to want to explore.

† Yes, we realize the new idea of 1500s history was this was a bad thing. This thought needs to be completed. The explorers Elizabeth sent out, came back with free people. The example, I'd give would be Mrs John Rolfe during the reign of Elizabeth's heir. If the Spanish Armada hadn't been destroyed, remember Philip was setting fire to non-Catholics, the Spanish Inquisition was active.

Spain was diligently dealing with Cannibals.  When out of favor with Cauahtemoc, Aztec Emperor,  had human legs served and expected to be eaten. Extremely frequently. This involved the absolute whims of Cauahtemoc.  History on Fire, Professor Daniele Bolelli. Catholicism never looked more desirable. Although the Spanish Emperor was revolted by Cortez and his tactics. So, Cortez faced his own Karma.

With God nothing is impossible, from prisoner, to the Wind of Good Blessings, Elizabeth was spending an hour each morning with God and exploring the New World.

To Know the Scriptures and the Power of God.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

We won't be far from the Kingdom of God. Love is more than burnt offerings and sacrifices. Love gives cheerfully.

Jesus, I believe is telling about being identified as the Grandson of Heli in the Talmud, descendant of Nathan, son of King David, brother to Solomon. Jesus is explaining being born to Mary and Joseph makes Him Blessed and Blessed to be the descendant of David. Jesus was, I believe, explaining the difference between Matthew 1 and Luke 3. One is His Mother's family, one is Joseph's family, both are the line of David. Luke would very probably have met Mary.  Matthew the good Jew, would have wanted to explain Joseph.

And as we see Elizabeth live in the Psalms and the New Testament, we receive a hope to Live in God's Word fully Alive. To know the Scriptures and see God of the Possible and Wondrous and to be filled in His Love.

We pray not to be poor. Not to suffer this Christmas. And yet, in all circumstances, to be rich to give of our hearts. In Jesus, we are grateful to God who sees the Heart and offers Comfort and Love.

John 17 ~ to know in truth that Jesus came from Almighty God, our Father

The Dinner Table of what became, later, the New Covenant

John 17

When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, 2 since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

4 I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.

6 “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. 7 Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you.

8 For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me.

9 I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. 11 And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.

12 While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me.
I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

18 As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
19 And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

0 “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, 23 I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 2

5 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. 26 I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

John's Gospel, the 17th Chapter is alive.
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.  To Believe God is saying:

1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Today, we are kept in the Highest Name of Jesus. Given Jesus. We are guarded and we are not lost. The adventure of life to discover welcome in Father God's heart. To discover as the decades unfold, how God will work all things to Good.

It's an adventure of faith. The work of mankind. Give us this day, Living Bread, to discover our Faith in the Promises of God. This year to realize this year, the determination to have faith. To have the emotions and find the rock solid faith to stand to go forth in God's Goodness.

John 17 brings comfort on days of feeling life rolls over us. Days of less than. My favorite is John's First Chapter in His Gospel. The Wonder of Jesus' Heart. Who He is.  The Light of the world, connecting the goodness of God in all His Good Creation. The Celebration of God. More to God than just Comfort. God is Help. God is our Helper. Our Teacher.

To find Father God, sees us as we pray. With more of God's Glory to be seen.

To believe more is ahead in God's Plan for us. In this life and the next. Daily Bread.

Today, we will believe in God's Goodness. His Word Life has Trouble. And to believe John 17 is to find Comfort. The explanation I've given is simple. The Word of God, Himself, is Love.

Jeremiah 32:27

Behold I am the Lord, the God of all flesh.
Is there anything too hard for me?

About Me

My photo
Email registry at bottom.! “All Scripture is inspired by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Men “moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God” (2 Peter 1:21). The Holy Spirit carried men along, moving and guiding them as they wrote in their own words what God wanted them to say. The Bible is unique; comprised of 80 separate books, & written over a period of thousands of years by more than 40 writers with one Author, spanning the centuries, different states of peace & war & different situations in life. The Bible answers the question: of who is God, who is man & what can their relationship can be. Although the Bible was written on perishable material and copied by hand for many centuries, its accuracy is not in doubt, proven by Dead Sea Scrolls and papyrus from 2,000 years. The Bible has survived persecution & criticism to be read with great interest in each generation. The Bible gives witness to the greatness of the Creator. A loving Father concerned for all of his creation. With each verse of the bible witnessing to God is love and the multitude & vastness of His attributes. The Bible was written for you. <><
