Psalm 124
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side—
let Israel now say—
2 if it had not been the Lord who was on our side
when people rose up against us,
3 then they would have swallowed us up alive,
when their anger was kindled against us;
4 then the flood would have swept us away,
the torrent would have gone over us;
5 then over us would have gone
the raging waters.
6 Blessed be the Lord,
who has not given us
as prey to their teeth!
7 We have escaped like a bird
from the snare of the fowlers;
the snare is broken,
and we have escaped!
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
Here we are back in our homes. And in Holy Week, we saw the peak flatten for the first time.
And in Easter Week, we saw National plans forming for States to begin our Recovery.
We are far above the stated loss of millions of people.
Our Father God Loves us. Our Father God hears our prayers.
Jesus told us how...
I've included the photo as something to think about
during stay at home.
When we concentrate on saying the Lord's Prayer, we can change just about any vapor of fleeting discouragement. And when this doesn't happen, God is going with us in all Circumstances.
Usually, The Lord's Prayer is a Light.
The Gospels do not include, "For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever." This refers to Revelation 1 and Revelation 6. The people of God were so encouraged to read John, suddenly one Sunday, John was suddenly sitting in the forever Home and Kingdom with Jesus. And returning to tell us about seeing John's, and our, wonderful Jesus. When we say the Lord's Prayer and we say, "Hallowed be Thy Name", remember Jesus was being present in the moment. The Hallowed or Holy Name is Jesus. Life after death and back again.
Prayer is not systematic. Anything we tell Jesus relies on Jesus. Abraham had a lot of faults just being Abraham, and God credited his faith as righteousness. To have a simple faith is more than pleasing to God.
We simply tell You, thank You for delivering us from being surrounded by Death.
This could have been something terrible we never recover from.
In the Hope and Joy of the quick response from this savage Virus, with 5 promising vaccines, we Thank You for Your Mercy.
Thanking You we did not see our young generation die or have crippling injuries. We Thank You for seeing the end of this virus. We have overcome our fear of death for ourselves, our loved ones, the people who are older, but we are seeing the fright of income recovery.
Abba, to be in need is frightening. And one boy brought you two loaves and five fish.
And The People of God were satisfied.
With 12 Baskets left over.
Having Expectation of God's Provision. Daily.
O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.
He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.
O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.
I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope.
In Jesus the Christ of God, our own Jesus, Amen.
