Psalm 61
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. Of David.
Hear my cry, O God,
listen to my prayer;
2 from the end of the earth I call to you
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock
that is higher than I,
3 for you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy.
4 Let me dwell in your tent forever!
Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah
5 For you, O God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6 Prolong the life of the king;
may his years endure to all generations!
7 May he be enthroned forever before God;
appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!
8 So will I ever sing praises to your name,
as I perform my vows day after day.
Holy Week and We have our first Glimpse at Breaking the Virus and have Good News!
As Jesus spoke of the Joy of Life, Jesus was determined to do the Will of God.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Romans 8:28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
To see what Jesus was working for, in the midst of Trouble, is to find God gives Strength and Hope and a Future.
Jesus has always believed:
Joshua 1:7
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.
Jesus was on the Narrow Path. With courage and with His Strength.
Jesus was clear and easily understood. In times of stress, Jesus is very obtainable to us. The Gates of Heaven are open always.
Abba,
We Thank You for good news in the Covid Virus retreating. We pray this virus leaves forever.
This is Holy Week and we see better news. We lift up New York and the Eastern Coast healing with New York City. We ask healing for them and for Boris Johnson. We ask for Safety for the Italians, a Hope and Future.
Lamentations 3
The LORD'S loving kindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him."
Matthew 28:2
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
Philippians 2
Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
John 12:13
So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!”
John 13:17
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
John 20:29
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Father, We ask for Your Steadfast Love and Faithfulness to watch over us and Bless us
to Seek You and Your Kingdom first. To Live Love, Peace and Joy.
Holy, Holy, Holy is our Lord God Always. In Jesus. Amen.
