Believing and Knowing Jesus Loves you today.
John 17:11-24
I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
This is one of the truly wonderful prayers in the Bible.
Just as Jesus was loved by Father God, then and still today.
This prayer is for us, His beloved children today.
Josephus the Historian to 3 Roman Emperors writes in Antiquities 18: Chapter 3
“And the tribe of Christians, so named from him, are not extinct at this day.” Josephus is recording the unity of the Christians. Truly a Work of God in this first century. This portion of Josephus is accepted and not debated.
I prayed this prayer with the Lord's Prayer this morning and found, joy. Jesus has Joy within Him. Giving us the comfort of His sanctification, His truth as we believe in Jesus.
Hebrews 7
20 And it was not without an oath! Others became priests without any oath, 21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him:
“The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
‘You are a priest forever.’”
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.
23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever,
he has a permanent priesthood. 25
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him,
because he always lives to intercede for them.
26 Such a high priest truly meets our need
—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself.
Abba, Father God,
You are gentle and vast, You fill the whole universe.
Dwell in us and Help us to Seek You First.
To seek Your Heaven on this, Your good creation.
All fall short of the Glory of God. Jesus had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. In Grace upon Grace, Jesus was fully human in every way, in order that Jesus might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that Jesus might make atonement for the sins of the people.
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling,
fix your thoughts on Jesus.
Let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
Fight the good fight of the faith.
Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.
Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness.
God of Love help our faith reveal hearts of Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. Guard the people entrusted to us.
Remembering You told us Your Mercies renew, and we will find this.
In the times we have worry, we will remember God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. Your Holy Spirit will pray for us. We can lean into You.
In the Highest Name of Jesus, we ask Your Righteousness.
And our souls will be a wonderful home for You.
Surround us, fill us, fill those we Love with Jesus Christ.
Redeem us and Renew us with Your Willingness, and we will be Blessed and Blessed.
Help us to Seek Your Kingdom and Righteousness first. To Live lives of Love, Peace and Joy.
Give us this day to find our Joy is our Strength in You.
Father, You are Working.
Bless Elliott with Healing and Dee.
You Fight the Good Fight, we find our Comfort, Help and Strength.
To live in affection and Love brings us faith, hope and Love.
You are The Good Father asking us
To Love ourselves. To have a Spirit of Power.
Love others.
Comforted and Strengthened we will find Solutions
And Greater Joys.
Abundant Love flowing down. Soaking us All!
His Living Water flows.
Opening our doors with expectation of Your Continued Goodness
in ourselves, in the ones we Love,
Jesus Christ in the people You bring us.
We pray for the safety of
our Schools to be a safe, good,
warm place for the Children
Children need their Schools.
We uphold them with our Love and Prayers.
We ask Your Mighty Word
to for all the United States and the world
Finding Your Blessing and Word of Love.
Jesus help us in this Nation to be in Your Word and see more Joy.
