Psalm 108
My heart is steadfast, O God!
I will sing and make melody with all my being!
2 Awake, O harp and lyre!
I will awake the dawn!
3 I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples;
I will sing praises to you among the nations.
4 For your steadfast love is great above the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth!
6 That your beloved ones may be delivered,
give salvation by your right hand and answer me!
7 God has promised in his holiness:
“With exultation I will divide up Shechem
and portion out the Valley of Succoth.
8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah my scepter.
9 Moab is my washbasin;
upon Edom I cast my shoe;
over Philistia
I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Have you not rejected us, O God?
You do not go out, O God, with our armies.
12 Oh grant us help against the foe,
for vain is the salvation of man!
13 With God we shall do valiantly;
it is he who will tread down our foes.
When we face difficulty in life, even a time of difficulty we know will pass, our strength is tested. Especially when we are weary.
Naomi and Ruth tell us the Belief and Promise Jesus never leaves nor forsakes. What we want God to run to us, as the Prodigal Son, and assure us.
Ruth faced walking in the famine times through the desert with an elderly, weary woman. They had not had the best of times to face the journey ahead.
Ruth 1:16, 17
Ruth replied: “Do not urge me to leave you or to turn from following you. For wherever you go, I will go, and wherever you live, I will live; your people will be my people, and your God will be my God. 17 Where you die, I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD punish me, and ever so severely, if anything but death separates you and me.”
We are gifted with Salvation. Free to Follow God and the Spirit of His Love. His Comfort. And the Salvation we have, came with a Price of Jesus. His Life laid down and raised in the Glory, Mercy and Love God has for Jesus and for us. Now God's Child. Psalm 108:9.
Ruth 4:7-11
Now this was the custom in former times in Israel
concerning redeeming and exchanging: to confirm a transaction,
the one drew off his sandal and gave it to the other, and this was the manner of attesting in Israel.
8 So when the redeemer said to Boaz, “Buy it for yourself,” he drew off his sandal.
9 Then Boaz said to the elders and all the people, “You are witnesses this day that I have bought from the hand of Naomi all that belonged to Elimelech and all that belonged to Chilion and to Mahlon. 10 Also Ruth the Moabite, the widow of Mahlon, I have bought to be my wife, to perpetuate the name of the dead in his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brothers and from the gate of his native place. You are witnesses this day.”
11 Then all the people who were at the gate and the elders said, “We are witnesses.
May you act worthily in Ephrathah and be renowned in Bethlehem.
Psalm 108:13
With God we shall do valiantly; it is He who will tread down our foes.
Ruth and Naomi faced uncertainty. They lived in the middle of famine and traveled to uncertain change. Naomi had left her land in Israel due to famine. They faced uncertainty. The need for employment and retirement for Naomi being older. The need for family, when family was distant and unknown.
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
The Scriptures are punctuated as Scripture will be written. Psalm 108:13 might say, “With God, we shall do valiantly.” Instead, Father God does not put in a comma and this reads more diligent faithfulness of our Loving Father God.

With God we shall do valiantly; it is He who will tread down our foes.
God asks us to Believe God. Our Hope and Future. God of Life. God of Abundance. Almighty Father God expands Life and Love.
When we see Boaz, we see a man who is a Pillar. His descendants remember Boaz well. Boaz has upheld his family and those in need.
Solomon and David named the Pillars of the Temple doors Boaz.
Solomon remembered Bethlehem and created pools of water.
“I made myself pools from which to water the forest of growing trees”
Jeremiah 23:23-24
“Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?
Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? Declares the Lord.
Do I not fill heaven and earth?” Declares the Lord.
Abba, Father God,
Acts 17:27
God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him,
though He is not far from each one of us.
In all moments of our lives, You are with us.
Help us to seek You first.
Be with us to see more Heaven on earth.
Help us to be more Heaven on earth.
Overcome this year. So many feel the effects.
Help us to encourage each other with Your Wisdom.
Come, Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Help those we Love and the People You have given us.
Comfort, Guide, Lead, Direct, Encourage us in this Nation and world.
Bless the Light of Jesus Christ in mankind.
Help us to give You the Glory.
More Faith, more opportunities,
More Hope, more jobs
More Love, more Justice and Kindness, more Respect.
Abundant Love flowing down. Soaking us all
His Living Water flows
as we didn't even
see the need.
Jesus does.
