John 1:29-45
29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
32 And John bore witness: “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him. 33 I myself did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”
35 The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, 36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!” 37 The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus.
38 Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?”
And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”
Luke 1:78-79
"Because of the tender mercy of our God,
whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high
79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
39 He said to them, “Come and you will see.”
So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour.
40 One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and said to him,
“We have found the Messiah” (which means Christ). 42 He brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas” (which means Peter).
43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee.
He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
We see in John's Gospel Chapter One, right from the very beginning - Jesus is called by Andrew "Messiah." This is an amazing claim. Andrew has found John the Baptist to be Spiritually amazing and has followed John the Baptist as a Prophet of the Most High God.
John 1
48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?”
Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
1 Peter 1:13
Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
Texas rarely has a perfect snow. Daniel explains the Heavenly Host are arranged in orderly fashion and not only people have a Guardian Angel, Jesus discusses, but places have orders and Heavenly Host for places. Daniel asks God in prayer to rightly order the Heavenly Host to prosper His Children, fallen and sorrowful.
So, we'd have to say the Heavenly Host rarely are instructed for Texas to have perfect snows.
We start out well.
But almost inevitably, we end up with ice, that could cause years of damage
Even when everything looks Ok. Due to the fluctuation of temperature
We had a day of increased temperatures to about 37' and the whole day of rain
washed away ice on the trees.
Washed away piles of snow on the roof, avoiding leaks.
Finding our Blessings.
Praying when the water is stirred we can pray the end of the bad weather much faster,
with the Favor of Jesus, Highest Name of God. Amen
Abba, Father God,
When Jesus and His chosen Disciples set out to tell us about the Journey of Faith,
they just wandered about amazed and scared.
And Jesus told us several times about emotions. Jesus said we could have anger and that's fine, just don't sin. Jesus encouraged us to not have fears.
Jesus continued to work with His chosen even when they had fear.
Jesus told us we are not responsible for words and actions of others.
Jesus told us we are responsible for the words and deeds we put forth.
Father God, an interesting example of rubber and glue.
Jesus is our Lord God and we bless You Father,
You meet, fill and give to all of us, Your Favor.
Jesus as Savior of all the World. Jesus bless us with forgiveness of our personal sins and flaws. Thank You for Your mercy to me and to the ones I love and we cover the people
You have given us.
Bless Elliott with all Your Healing and Willing Word.
And this follows along perfectly with the teaching of Jesus.
Seek God First. Love ourselves. Love others.
Love One Another.
We pray with Hope and Expectation for Texas and all of us
to have better weather and anticipate Mercy given.
Thank You, Jesus for covering us with Love and Mercy. Amen.
Easter will arrive.
