Psalm 61
Hear my cry, O God,
listen to my prayer;
2 from the end of the earth I call to you
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock
that is higher than I,
3 for you have been my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy.
4 Let me dwell in your tent forever!
Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! Selah
5 For you, O God, have heard my vows;
you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6 Prolong the life of the king;
may his years endure to all generations!
7 May he be enthroned forever before God;
appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!
8 So will I ever sing praises to your name,
as I perform my vows day after day.
Today was the worst day.
Everything that was a ten-minute job became more than two and a half hours. And really in Pandemic, you find people do not want the burden of someone else's situation. It felt like the Pandemic and the computer problems wouldn't end. Life forever. I had a great big, huge cry. Usually, when I cry, I guess I cry about once a month, I feel better. I didn't today.
I sat with Edward and told him all my situation, and his own eyes had tears. To be loved for who you are is great beyond measure.
Capernaum Jesus saw from the boat!
Sermons are helpful, an Anglican Priest in Canada wrote me and sent me a Sermon he felt would be particularly helpful for me. It was about the Exodus and all the hardships Israel has suffered, endured, fought and thrived.
Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape,
as the Lord has said,
and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.
Romans 11:5
So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
For the times we feel completely discouraged, probably we don't believe the sky is falling, but we do wonder if the Lord's Blessings will be Abundant in Comfort. If we skimp and scrape by. Will the waves be too high. But enduring makes perseverance and hope.
Ed's Sermon from Canada said that when we come to the end of our rope, God is going to provide the Narrow Path. And voilà, we have our fear. Beans on toast for Emotional Joy. Peanut Butter for Nutrition. But the truth is, just when the darkness is closing in, a candle will do. And with the time spent giving thanks for the Light, we find God is making The Path, The Joy, The Comfort, The Nutrition. The Way, The Truth and The Life for the Joy in, "Don't worry little flock, it is the Father's Joy to give you The Kingdom."
One of the reasons we love Peter, you know he knows he has blown the whole deal. So badly. And he doesn't try to walk on water again, but he goes exactly where the Word of Life is in Jesus. +
Abba, Father God,
We will be still and let You fight for us.
We will listen to the God given still, small voice.
We will do what You give us to do, we can do all things in
Christ Who Strengthens us.
Every day, not missing a day,
Dwell in us and know us.
Help us to see more Heaven on earth.
And we will grow like the seeds in the soil, watered,
tended mercifully by Jesus.
Ephesians 1:10
To be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment
– to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth
under Christ.
where revenge and power seem to be scheduled first.
We are praying for all the people making up the whole of the Nation.
While seeing what we don't want to see, we will provide and give
to one another a better place.
Where anger and condemnation ring out to shock and upset,
we pray for the Historic minds shaken like Lave Lamps for the last two years
squeezed into 13 months
We pray for Hope. We pray for Faith. We pray for Love.
Healing in Jesus Christ.
Personal Strength.
Sharing Strength.
a Year for You to have Joy
and Pleasure in us.
Proverbs 8
30 Then I was a skilled craftsman at His side,
and His delight day by day,
rejoicing always in His presence.
31 I was rejoicing in His whole world,
delighting together in the sons of men.
32 Now therefore, my sons, listen to me,
for blessed are those who keep my ways.
We Pray for Elliott
for all healing and Joy.
in
The Highest Name of Jesus Christ
Amen
