Greetings from the Frozen Texas Tundra. Quite a few Texans, like us, are without electricity.
This Post is made by batteries and Sterno lamp. We think we have a miracle, the garage is 41'. Amazing, outside, presently, it's 14'. Tonight the projections are 10'. Father God protect all the old people. the young and the vulnerable. Like my mother in Dallas had her power off. A neighbor asked them to stay with her, however there was no way to get a car to drive there, the roads were treacherous. Fortunately! My mother's power is back on! She and her caregiver Edith are far happier to have electricity and warmth.
This morning we had tap water hot water, tepid, Folger's Coffee. We called it, "Luke, I am your father."
God bless all the Entergy and ERCOT employees. Let all the Brilliant people work tonight until none of us will be frozen. I'm grateful to Gov. Abbott and our Congressional Representatives who have put out public statements telling us what is happening. I think in this situation, this is real bravery.
Psalm 131
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
O Lord, my heart is not lifted up;
my eyes are not raised too high;
I do not occupy myself with things
too great and too marvelous for me.
But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child is my soul within me.
O Israel,
Hope in the Lord
from this time forth
and forevermore.
Mark 10
46 Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the roadside. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”
And they called the blind man, saying to him, “Take heart. Get up; he is calling you.”
50 And throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Rabbi, let me recover my sight.”
52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.”
And immediately he recovered his sight
and followed Him on the way.
12 And as he entered a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13 and lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.”
14 When he saw them he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.”
And as they went they were cleansed.
15 Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice; 16 and he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. Now he was a Samaritan.
17 Then Jesus answered, “Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?”
19 And he said to him, “Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.”
and forevermore.

James lived as Jesus Brother.
During the ministry of Jesus, James is only shown a few times. And Jesus knew James would be part of God's Plan. Acts 1, Acts 2 and again in Corinthians, Paul spoke of Jesus' Brothers being an ongoing part of the Way, Truth and Life of Jesus. Eusebius reports the loyalty of Jesus' family 400 years later in Nazareth.

James 1:12-18
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
We pray not to become fossilized tonight or this week.
Let the Light of God prevail.
Abba, Heavenly Father,
We give You Thanks for Your Mercies, Willing Blessings. Every day.
Help us to hold our Blessings, see them, live them and build our lives with Your help.
We want to hold on to Your Truth and Blessings.
With Jesus may we be strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might,
for all endurance and patience with joy.
In Your Good Creation, we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, asking more Heaven on earth in Your Good Will, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him.
Seeking Jesus and Your Kingdom, the Power of Your Word,
Please let Your steadfast Love have its full effect, and we will be perfect and complete,
lacking in nothing.
We will impudently ask, in Expectation of Jesus and His Righteousness,
to fill those we Love with Jesus and His Holy Spirit.
And electricity.
And we know that for those who love God
all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to His purpose.
Today, we had a mosquito report from a local park, apparently
mosquitos are gone. Thank God.
Your Mercy on those quarantined and ill. For the families to have peace and wellness.
I'd actually prefer February today of 2021 with the end of the Pandemic in sight
to the uncertainty of worldwide Pandemic.
Your Blessings on our Nation trusting in You.
The calming of minds in the Pandemic, the idea of harmony and peace.
With thanks to the industry supplying the power to give us electricity.
Without Electricity, one certainly sees the point of early to bed, early to rise.
For all the people we know who have been ill and we are praying for. Giving thanks for those having Miracles, giving thanks for these Acts of God.
We lift up our cares counting on Your Goodness.
Help us always seek You first.
And we earnestly pray to see more Heaven on earth.
And far more electricity soon, please!
For Your Kingdom, Your Power and Your Glory.
Thank You Jesus. Amen.
