2 Thessalonians 2
13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
14 To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 So then, brothers, stand firm
and hold to the traditions
that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father,
Who loved us and gave us eternal comfort
and good hope through grace,
17 comfort your hearts
and establish them in every good work and word.
Today, Facebook notifications directed me to a site I didn't remember ever hearing of, and I was asked to comment as a Top Badge Something. As I looked at the site, it was filled with world disasters. Filled. Overflowing. Making all of this Gigantic Earth look like bubbling hell disaster.
The first item was: Glacier falls in Italy. Marmolada, Verra, and Canazeli, Italy all look to the Italian Alps as their horizon. 7 hikers were killed. Also consider White Friday of 1916, December 18 same Alps mountain kills 270 soldiers due to Avalanche. And realize, as hotel guests sat gazing at 35 miles of Alps glaciers, this appeared to be something beautiful to them. Not for the hiker's families. This issue, like so many, can be presented in many ways.
If we are going to address climate change, we can't ignore the blue skies of the Pandemic and plan for our Government spending on infrastructure to include mass transit, mass transit innovations and trains to ferry our automobiles. We have only seen significant improvements during Pandemic lockdowns and immediate improvements.
We have to be informed about the 2nd and 4th century changes in weather, scaring the Populous. They had unheard of European tornadoes. Massive, deadly, frequent lightning strikes, rivers run dry. Freak snow storms in unusual seasonality. Fires and forest fires. Tsunami and freak waves. The world believed the end of all things was upon them.
2 Thessalonians 2
Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers,
Not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed,
either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
John 20:19-29
The disciples were afraid of the Jewish leaders, and on the evening of that same Sunday they locked themselves in a room.
Romans 8:15
For you did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!"
John 14
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.” 5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
Jabez lived a life being pain free. God honored him for being honorable:
John 5:
All may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
Honor God with your heart
Matthew 15:8
These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.
Honor truth
2 John 1:2
Because of the truth, which lives in us
and will be
with us
forever
John 16:14
13 However, when the Spirit of truth comes,
He will guide you into all truth
For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears,
and He will declare to you what is to come.
14 He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you.
15 Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine.
That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine
and disclose it to you
Abba, Father God,

In Jesus Christ, we will finish well.
Bless us surrounding, upholding, comforting us
and Blessing us in the Highest Name of Jesus Christ.
May we be so blessed as to seek God first.
Blessed be the Highest Name of Jesus
for Fulfilling His Word to us.
Surround us with Your Love
and Your Mercy, we ask in Jesus.
Thank You, Father. Abba.
Mark 16:1-8
