Houston saw rain - Twice - today.
Months of no days with two rains.
We are Singing like a Miktam of David!
Psalm 16
A Miktam of David.
1 Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2 I say to the LORD, "You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you."
3 As for the saints in the land,
they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.
4 The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply;
their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out
or take their names on my lips.
5 The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot.
6 The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed,
I have a beautiful inheritance.
7 I bless the LORD who gives me counsel;
in the night also my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure.
10 For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
In 2019, Texas had PLENTY OF RAIN...
Texas had so much rain in July, we had rivers and rivers of water, even in Central Texas.
Amos, 5th Chapter, Verse 24 called out,
Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream
On maps you can find the Mother of all Rivers, in Asia. The USA has Big River and Big Island. In all continents you'd find rivers that run, silver, black, red and yellow rivers. Red Rivers in Texas. But you'd be hard pressed to find Justice River. Amos set the bar pretty high and no one wants to have the criticism of Justice River flowing near them.
Paul said, he would see how it went with him to find his path and travel this. Most of all of us are doing this. Moses was 80 years old and tending sheep when his average day started with a fire in the wilderness. Soon his path and journey would change. We are like Moses watching the day go on by. And finding out we have some deep longings to see all of us set the bar higher for common courtesy, honesty and to treat each other as we would like to be treated. Equality and mercy.
What will we do when we are in drought. We would like to have the Joy Jesus tells us is Life.
We could do a rain dance.
Looks good, but the skies merely look resting. The real answer to a real drought is putting out water for the animals and wildlife consistently, adopting a tree not in your yard with even a gallon a day. Worked for Memorial Park in Houston in 2011. And ... nothing we can do but some kindness. And Pray. We all wait upon the Lord for many parts of life.
Prayer, God tells us, gives us the belief in Love. Strength of Hope. Gratitude is an open heart. For new paths. For new opportunities. When we have an open heart for the Lord and His Beloved, we will rise as Jesus Christ says often. Gratitude makes us wise to guard the important aspects of life.
Rise up to do better, go further, healed, holy and filled with Joy. 216 Times Rise is used in the Scriptures. 15 times in Matthew, 16 times in Mark. Jesus used Rise and go forth. Especially when Jesus healed!
The airlines are 150% less violent than last year. But 350% greater in turmoil than ever. It's up to us
not to be violent on a plane and not tolerate violence and injustice. Pray in all situations.
Prayers Sent to the Lord, come back newly encouraged. More than we can ask or imagine.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen
Abba, Father God,
May God Bless us by dwelling in us.
Bless us by dwelling in those we Love.
Help us to Seek You First
In Jesus Christ, we will finish well.
Bless us surrounding, upholding, comforting us
and Blessing us in the Highest Name of Jesus Christ.
May we be so blessed as to seek God first.
Blessed be the Highest Name of Jesus
for Fulfilling His Word to us.
Surround us with Your Love
and Your Mercy, we ask in Jesus.
Thank You, Father. Abba.
We ask to be rid of all Covid and anger.
Mark 16:1-8
~ they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled
Never could happen
and, yet,
this is Miraculously Jesus
We will Rise.
We pray for Liberty and Justice for all.
We will pray for the President who was invaded
as he was then mocked by another Presidential family
for their personal escape from justice. As a selling point.
To be invaded
is not a good thing.
We pray no one is invaded
again
Justice creates Unity.
Injustice allowing what is questionable and wrong
is separatist
does not build strength.
We ask the Lord
for
Liberty and Justice
For ALL
Justice
will flow like
waters of righteousness
in an ever present
and flowing presence of God.
Finally, be strong in The Lord and in the strength of His might.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel
Jesus has the Victory.
We are more
than conquerors
in
Jesus Christ.
Bless us and Keep us
and make His face
to shine upon us.
To be gracious to us.
To lift His Countenance upon us.
The Lord Jesus to Smile His Joy.
To give us His Peace.
His very own Peace.
To surround us in Jesus and His Love
Causing our path to give goodness
and mercy as our footsteps
We are Blessed to have
Jesus Christ
as our Savior.
Jesus bless us ALL to Overcome
Alleluia, Jesus has the Victory.
Alleluia!
