We began our journey yesterday at 10 a.m.Thursday, and due to wind shear storms in Houston, we are currently in Louisiana. Having spent the day and night on an airplane. And now, as well, IAH is closed. Our friend meeting us at the airport has carefully returned home, avoiding flooded streets.
The wonderful dog sitter is with all the critters we want to see. We currently have chicken in a dinner napkin. Oh, well. Wind shear is worse than being late.
Proverbs 16:9
In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.
And in fact, we are all in the same boat. And feel wamped.
Mankind. We tend to be wamped. Without sleep. Seeing dark skies create stomach jolting turbulence. Seeing the sunrise become packed with clouds. Wanting a toothbrush and cup of coffee, mankind is filled with contradictions.
God is far more reliable, steadfast and immovable. And in Him, we lift drooping eyelids and tired hands. And feel that today will bring new strength. Find the opportunity to see the Blessings. The season is green and filled with promise of the coming summer. Life is good, God ordains Life to have Hope.
This Post is from a phone grateful to have a charging electric outlet. Eyes to see Beautiful Louisiana. Wonderful Dog Sitter. Inquiring neighbor. And a heart of hope.
Let evil be undone. Let the Goodness of God Prevail. Let Hope for the heritage of our Nation be supported by prayer and the God of Love.
Our Nation has seen vast war and plagues. Marches and outcry. And we have never seen tragedy, without those who come to care and comfort. Repair. Invasion of 1812. The Civil War when members of Congress were slain. How my great, great grandfather arrived in the United States House of Representatives. Cuban Missile Crisis. War rations and shortages. Jerry Mandering. Troubles come. Hope Prevails.
Hope Prevails. Truth. Mercy. Justice. Law and Order.
God will Prevail. This is guaranteed.
