Psalm 23:5b-6
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell
in the
House of the Lord
forever.
I love the Truth of the Scriptures.
Never the glass is full or empty, it's.... real. We anticipate God being like us. I only have so much of my casserole for my dinner group.... I hope Jack won't have too much.... but Edward needs more and so his plate needs a bit more.
God doesn't give us a couple of ties or a sweater and say to us - now feel full. Love with me, please, how real Psalm 126 is. We acknowledge our blessings..... we've celebrated life with people we love. We give God thanks for our eyesight, for hearing, for health. For a job, for opportunities to come. For the people we were, and are, fortunate enough to love. And have been fortunate to be able to give the gift of giving to.
Psalm 126 acknowledges our lives are blessed and could use some more blessings. It gives us hope and assurance, God doesn't say, "Nope, you are blessed enough and my warehouse of blessings is spent."

Recently, I was in the grocery store, far, far, far from home and 2 people were missing the past and saying changes were too many, too soon and life was slipping far from gracious. We will miss what is good if we are bitter and spend too much time wanting to take down or take away from each other.
We have to find the blessings of today and be honest about our needs for more prayers answered.
Today, is the day to remember what has been given for free and cannot be replaced. To remember the future lives laid down and the years of service. And be grateful.
This morning was extremely beautiful on the water. And if you didn't get up pretty fast for the beauty and fresh, new day - - - the clouds began to roll in. Cherish the moments to appreciate the whole day. And again the sun and the glory of the Heavens appeared for ALL of us.
Is there really a glimmer of Hope?
Reawaken the Faith in us, again.
The Lord loves our prayers.
Abba, Father,
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come
This grace that brought me safe thus far
And grace will lead me home
When we've been here ten thousand years
Bright, shining as the sun
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we'd first begun
Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind but now I see
Giving Thanks, to You, Father
for Eternal Life
for those who served, and we only know they have blessed our lives.
Giving Thanks, to You, Father
for Eternal Life
for those who have served, and we know them well.
The Blessing of Life.
Our prayer, Father,
says, Please Jesus.
Amen!
