Isaiah 28:12a
He has said:
"This is the place of rest, let the weary rest; this is the place of repose."
Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Jeremiah 31:25
for I will refresh the weary soul and replenish all who are weak."
John 7:37
On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink."
This will be a short post. This afternoon, I fell ill with an upset stomach and vomiting. If you would keep me in your prayers, this would be most appreciated.
Yesterday, we prayed for Kurt,I am pleased to report his wife posted to say, Kurt is doing unexpectedly better. And thanks all those who prayed for their prayers. The Lord has been gracious and favorable. So very glad for their family to see victory within sight. Thank You, Jesus Christ.
Abba, Father,
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father,
We expect to hear Good News.
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father,
guide the nations
of the world
into the way of justice and truth,
and establish among
them that peace which is the fruit of righteousness,
that they
may become the kingdom of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Mercy for the merciful.
Eternal God,
in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn
but the sword of righteousness,
no strength known but the
strength of love:
So mightily spread abroad your Spirit,
that
all peoples
may be gathered under the banner
of the Prince of Peace,
as children
of one Father;
to whom be dominion
and
glory, now and forever.
Amen.
Dwell in us, Father,
we ask in the Highest Name of Jesus.
Dwell, fully, in those we love
Help us to seek You
first
and we will finish well
in Jesus Christ.
We pray
Peace
for Israel
and Your Good Creation.
We pray healing for Kurt and Teresa.
And for David's family.
We know we will hear Good news.
Mercy for the merciful. Joy.
Love.
