Abraham Lived under the Oaks of Mamre at Hebron, Israel
Abraham was visited by Angels
John 1:43-51
43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.”
44 Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”
46 Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”
Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”
48 Nathanael said to him, “How do you know me?”
Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
49 Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
50 Jesus answered him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” 51 And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”
Ezekiel 17:22-24
22 Thus says the Lord God: “I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. I will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.
23 On the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. And under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest.
24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord; I bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish.
I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.
Jeremiah 23:4-6
I will raise up shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or dismayed,
nor will any go missing, declares the LORD.
Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD,
when I will raise up for David a Righteous Branch,
and He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely.
And this is His name by which He will be called:
The LORD Our Righteousness.
Matthew 13:31-32
Jesus put before them another parable:
“The Kingdom of Heaven
is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field.
Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come
and nest in its branches.”
Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Revelation 21:24-26
By its light the nations will walk,
and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.
Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.
