This photo isn't about Angels from Heaven.
The photo is of my younger son with our delightful Owen,
when Owen was chosen to show his talent in High School as Mr. Cavalier.
The teachers decide who will be honored, 6 students to participate.
My older son was one of the 6. My younger son was part of Owen's team 2 years later.
The photos all turned out as if the really great
young men were Angels and I was Super Impressed.
Evidently curly wool Lambs!
Luke 10
23 Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see
but did not see it,
and to hear what you hear
but did not hear it.”
Did the Shepherds have young children with them? As David worked in the field?
We will not know. Until Heaven.
Genesis 18:19
For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice,
so that the LORD may bring to Abraham
what
He has promised him.
What happened in that field
Luke 2:15-20
The shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.
About Christmastime, I did a post about standard education should only include pure thoughts for children. And leave adult matters to adults with adult minds.
This pleased quite a few people, and on smaller search engines, Scripture for Today Blogspot became much more difficult to find. Yet, apparently, our readers continued to find the Blog.
This is a Thank You. You have been Shepherds for the Blog. We have more reviews than we did before. Life will always give us the opportunity to be slammed and to have joy. Thank You to those of you giving a review. Your Shepherd efforts are a Joy to me. Thanks!
Your Prayers are Appreciated. We look with faith at the world around us and find difficult times with Reports on Prayer, we find more people are faithfully praying than ever before. To know this Nation prays as hard as Philippines and Ethiopia. Knowing we love our children, are guilty of being wild for our children and please God exceedingly. Difficult times knowing the huge percentage of people praying - Comfort us all. The Comfort of the Holy Spirit - together.
Praying is Good. We want to see some of the faith, we don't always readily see. All of us in His Beloved want to know. And then suddenly Easter was more of a travel time than Thanksgiving. Families gathering for Easter.
We want the Goodness of God to Shine in our lives and in the lives of those we love.
In Thanksgiving for the Good, we all say Abba, thank You for Jesus Christ. Son of God. And we pray this for one another:
Jeremiah 31:35
Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord of Hosts is His Name
