Luke 7:1-10
Vintage Capernaum Photo, 1800s
After He had finished all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered
Capernaum.
Historians aren't even sure if Roman Soldiers wore red. And then a time frame fresco was found:
Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. 3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant.
4 And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.”
6 And Jesus went with them.
4th Centure art work of Jesus, found after pilgrims continued for centures
to Capernaum and all of Israel.
When He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. 8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
When Jesus heard these things,
he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”
10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
The true Triumphs of History
belong to God
27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord
has risen upon you.
John 11:40
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed
you would see the glory of God?”
Philippians 2:9-11
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Abba, Father,
Hebrews 1:3

With the Light of Jesus Christ,
help us to be a joy for You to know us.
We want to seek You first.
And end well.
We earnestly seek this blessing for those we Love

So many prayers, You uphold the Universe by Your Word.
And we pray diligently, sometimes for years like
Grandmother Anita for her beloved son, Jimmy.
And 7 decades of Prayer became Joy.
Today, I was ill from some food upset.
I ask - Your Love and Mercy are overwhelming.
Thank You.

while they are yet speaking I will hear.
