On the third day there was a wedding (Feast) at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. 2 Jesus also was invited to the wedding with His Disciples. 3 When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”
4 And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me. My hour has not yet come.”
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. 7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.”
And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.”
So they took it. 9 When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.”
11 This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, with his mother and his brothers and his disciples, and they stayed there for a few days.
13 The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers sitting there. 15 And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. 16 And he told those who sold the pigeons, “Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade.” 17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.”
18 So the Jews said to him, “What sign do you show us for doing these things?”
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 The Jews then said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?”
21 But he was speaking about the temple of his body. 22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in his name when they saw the signs that he was doing.
24 But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them because he knew all people 25 and needed no one to bear witness about man,
for he himself knew what was in man.
John has the amazing beginning of the Ministry of Jesus. Jesus is already doing His Wonders and The Awe of God Himself surrounding Jesus in Chapter One.
And Jesus is in conversation with His Mother. She is telling Him what to do, while He is answering His Ministry isn't in full swing. Yet, we know Capernaum has already witnessed what Jesus can do, John the Baptist knows and definitely Nathaniel.
It's an interesting thought, if this is what Jesus considers not His Time. Capernaum and the crowds know Jesus is doing something Amazing already. In this Season of the New Year, we've thought about what Jesus was doing His first 30 Years of Life.
Jesus has answered what He was doing. Joy.
Given the year, it hardly seems the time to speak of Joy.
But Judea wasn't but a Suburb of Syria. And not even Pilate wanted to be sent to Judea. And Judea wasn't thrilled with Rome.
And Jesus perfectly managed to find Joy.

Abba, Father God,
Your Disciples arrived abruptly and asked to be told how to Pray.
Proverbs Eight tells us Jesus delighted in the Master Workmanship of His Father.
Jesus delighted knowing He is Your Exact Representation. And You, were going to give Jesus all the Master Workmanship He Required.
We ask You, Father, to Pray with us in Your Righteousness of Jesus' Name,
knowing the Prayers of the Righteous Availeth Much.
Father God, Jesus immediately went with
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as
in Heaven.
We pray all of our heart's longings beginning with
Dwell in us Jesus Christ.
Help us to seek You first.
Help the people we Love know Your Love.
And help us all to be more Heaven on earth.
Your Word tells us when we Seek You first
we find all the Blessings and Promises of God.
Finding the Joy Jesus tells us He Lives.
We all have So Many Ideas Right Now
how to make the World far Better.
Let this be a Path of Joy
instead of the burden we place on ourselves.
We pray for the Republic.
Really, it doesn't matter who stands up and tells us what Justice looks like.
We have an outcry right after we know Covid affects mood and mind
far longer than the virus lasts.
The Worries of the World have arrived in full force.
And in the next phase of Anger and Justice to be found.
We pray for Peace for All.
When I have anger, I picture holding on the bottom of the Robe of Jesus Christ.
I expect His Mercy. I let the Robe flow in me and over me. And I know I have the
Privilege and Joy of being heard by my Father God.
When I have anger, I picture Jesus as Living Water
flowing where I do not know water is even needed. Water flows where
Water has the will and might to do so.
This Last Sunday is the Liturgy of Jesus' Baptism.
After a Life of this much Available Joy for Jesus:
God has been sought in a journey out of the way, to the wilderness.
The People seeking God expect to confess their flaws and sins
and be washed into New Life.
Even Jesus in His Righteousness has Sought Baptism.
Beginning with God First.
Jesus didn't say He is Baptism.
Jesus tells us He is Living Water.
Renewable, Sustainable, Nurture and Life.
The Great White Horned Owl has returned to my neighborhood, unseen since 2018.
And my prayer life returns to when Life was pretty easy to pray for.
This day has had glad reminders of people who are Treasure in Heaven
and Blessings on earth.
We Pray for God's Loving and Good Plans to be Filled.
We Pray our Hope of Love and Joy for ourselves and those we Love is Filled.
We pray for the Nation to remember
the anger of mankind
does not bring the Righteousness of God.
We ask for the Light of mankind in Jesus Christ
to find humility, true peace and not arrogance of words.
We seek Jesus to find the Peace.
Being Grateful for what we have Received.
And Hopeful for God's Plan.
Not accepting what is unacceptable.
Finding Love to be a Path for All.
We have a few more days to give thanks to This President
of this Nation, The United States
has been given such good leadership to squabble over words
and not the despair of Violence Unrequited.
To Applaud Employment Rising Again
and not sit huddled in the dark without Reliable Warmth and Energy.
To have enough to buy in the Grocery Store for food chains
relentlessly helped and encouraged in Pandemic.
To look forward to the Vaccine
when the Malaria Vaccine took 20 years.
To have Social Media to attend Church anytime.
To be able to Chose to Attend Church in the Freedom of Religion.
To watch the Stock Market hit new prosperity
even in the Years of Pandemic.
To realize Publicly Traded Companies must be Good to keep our Business.
Including Social Media. We own them, they do Not own us.
Instead of complaining, Boycott. Boycott. Boycott. Boycott.
Instead of Complaining - email, email, email Legislatures relentlessly.
Success instead of Complaints.
To have Peace flowing in the Middle East.
To have our Troops hoping for Peace again.
For the Pandemic Government Checks, this Administration worked for.
The European Leaders also sought the help of the USA
for Ventilators and Assistance during the Pandemic.
We pray for the millions of people who are angry and upset.
Pray the Right Methods of Congressional email is the step that is taken.
Pray for Health Care not to be a system of Control instead
of a Blessing.
We pray our Righteousness is Love, Joy, Peace and Patience, Kindness with Mercy.
And not berating moral theories and suggestions with sarcasm.
Pray for the Health of the Nation!
Pray please for my family to be Healthy!
Praying for Elliott and Harby to be Cancer Free. Forever and Healthy.
We pray for Love and Hope to abound for those suffering from Covid in all manners.
Pray for Dee and Wayne and their family households of 7 people to recover quickly from Covid.
