A few years back, my brother took me to Washington D.C. for my birthday.
My brother, my niece and I walked about 15 miles a day, or more, seeing all the sights as slowly as possible. The first evening, we were tired and hailed a cab. My brother loves cabs and cab drivers for being interesting. That night the cab driver was from the area outside of Houston where we live. And we all felt joyous about that. The Apartments are filled with the People of Congress, not flashy, not in your face, who maintain a family home in their home state and in their duty to their people, keep costs down and have an apartment nearby to Congress.
