Great is the Lord
Psalm of David
Let them be put to shame and disappointed altogether
who rejoice at my calamity!
Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor
who magnify themselves against me!
27 Let those who delight in my righteousness
shout for joy and be glad
and say evermore,
“Great is the Lord,
who delights in the welfare of his servant!”
28 Then my tongue shall tell of Your righteousness

Your praise all the day long.

John 8:31-32
So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him, "If you abide in My Word, you are truly my disciples and you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free."
The truth is even Mary and Joseph failed as parents in critical times.
Proverbs 8 says God looks into the heart of mankind and delights. John 1 says mankind has the Light of Christ. Mostly people are trying their best with limited ideas and resources.
Forgiveness.
The Government does studies on Brain Damage, which probably could include some types of Terminal Illnesses in parents. And the Study says young adults run off to avoid seeing pain, aging, need and loss of freedom. The Government Study says if we forgive, we will see a total healing. Social studies meet the Scriptures!
Proverbs 18:21
There are different styles of Parenting.
Some Parents are absolutely great. Some Helicopter. Parents do trust their children well. Other parents trust too much. Some apparently care and don't really. Then you meet the plots of the Chilly People. This chilly group doesn't want to be known as chilly, unloving or usurer; therefore the words are all appropriate. With Sunday School Lessons trotted out of heart and behavior repair, or lessons given to the failure child who possibly might have a hope, glimmer, sadly might improve one day. Or the variation on the length of repair lessons. The tone of the repairs can include, such a disappointment.
In Basketball, the hips show the direction of the ball.
Calamity has a way of revealing hearts. Calamity magnified is part of this. Hearts are revealed in the Level of Hope and Love the Heart has been stretched to hold.
Victory has a way of revealing hearts. Victory magnified is part of this: the direction of the Heart. What Level of Hope and Love the Heart has been stretched to hold.
And we find living in Truth is a joyous thing, when knowledge is Not new. The Joy of the Lord, is our Strength. To cope, to hope, to have joy, to endure, to prevail, to thrive.
No matter if it is siblings, spouse, parent, boss, authority, co-worker, friend, friend group - to find God Loves Me, God Loves You. We will have the Victory in Joy of the Lord. To believe we are really Children of God. To have the Strength to Hope. To endure and then thrive.
John 14:1
"Do not let your hearts be troubled.
You believe in God, believe also in Me."
Rick Warren gave a memorable Sermon on the lies people, in your life, will tell to gain advantage. Rick Warren says find your identity in God and expect the best of people. Dig deep within yourself and have hope to dream and to stand tall. Believe in God. Be so strong, you Love yourself and find strength of heart to be generous and forgive. Looking for goodness, believing to find Goodness.
Ecclesiastes 1:16
16 I said in my heart, “I have acquired great wisdom, surpassing all who were over Jerusalem before me, and my heart has had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.” 17 And I applied my heart to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is but a striving after wind.
18 For in much wisdom is much vexation,
and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.
Romans 1:18

What's upbeat? HOPE, LOVE, FUTURE. GOD!!!
God says trouble in life will always find us. And we can do all things in the Strength of God with us. What's upbeat? Living in the Truth.
Proverbs 4
1 Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.
2 I give you sound learning, so do not forsake my teaching.
3 For I too was a son to my father, still tender, and cherished by my mother.
4 Then he taught me, and he said to me, "Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live."
5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. 7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.8 Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. 9 "She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown."
We need the Garland of Grace when the wild winds of life howls. To live the straight path, is to find the Strength. The Glorious Crown is wisdom, the Eternal Life is real.
The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
The Prodigal Son told his father, he wanted to leave. The Father let him.
God tells us in the Psalms, be who you are to God. He will listen and understand all of this. He wants You to have a Hope and a Future.
What are you going to do when you want to complain.
The Psalm is saying God is Your Father. He will Listen to you. You can tell Him who you are. You can complain at mistreatment. God is not a deity to Fear. The Psalms tell us let it all hang out.
God tells me, He tells you. You are Valuable and Loved and Chosen. Part of His Goodness. Value yourself. God tells you, Love Yourself.
The Nature of God tells us to ask for Heaven. The Nature of God is to ask us to Believe He provides Heaven. The Nature of God is there is Daily Bread. The Nature of God is to want to be asked.
Jesus will hold you in His Pinions
above the clamor
Abba, Father God,
The Psalms declare we can pray as we are.
Your Heart tells us
To declare Jesus is Holy and pray in His Righteousness.
Ask for more Heaven on earth.
Believe You give Daily Bread.
Ask and Give Forgiveness.
Believe You end trouble and temptation and deliver us safely. Amen.
Believe the Kingdom of God exists,
in the Power of Your Word and Will,
The Glory of God is Real.
When we are tired, You will hold us up.
We worry about circumstance we can't change, You care for us.
When we are Hopeful, we Believe You are working all this for Good.
Your Prayer offers those who are wrong forgiveness
and You offer me forgiveness too.
Help us seek You first in Your Righteousness
and the frayed ends, drooping knees and tired hands
will be renewed in the Joy of the Lord is our Strength.
