Psalm 28
To you, O Lord, I call;
my rock, be not deaf to me,
lest, if you be silent to me,
I become like those who go down to the pit.
2 Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy,
when I cry to you for help,
when I lift up my hands
toward your most holy sanctuary.
Luke 23
26 And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene,
who was coming in from the country,
and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind
Jesus
3 Do not drag me off with the wicked,
with the workers of evil,
who speak peace with their neighbors
while evil is in their hearts.
4 Give to them according to their work
and according to the evil of their deeds;
give to them according to the work of their hands;
render them their due reward.
5 Because they do not regard the works of the Lord
or the work of his hands,
he will tear them down and build them up no more.
6 Blessed be the Lord!
For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
in him my heart trusts, and I am helped;
my heart exults,
and with my song I give thanks to Him.
8 The Lord is the strength of his people;
He is the saving refuge of his anointed.
Psalm 28!
Oh, save your people and bless your heritage!
Be their shepherd and carry them forever.
Luke 23
26 And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus. 27 And there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him. 28 But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.
Matthew 27:32
Along the way they found a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
Mark 15:21
Now Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and the soldiers forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
Simon's act of carrying the cross, crossbeam,
for Jesus is the fifth or seventh of the Stations of the Cross.
There is wonder of God in this.
Luke 23 surrounds the passage
telling about children.

Mark 15:21 identifies Simon as "the father of Alexander and Rufus". Tradition states they became missionaries; the inclusion of their names may suggest that they were of some standing in the Early Christian community at Rome. It has also been suggested that the Rufus (in Greek: Ῥοῦφον or Rhouphon) mentioned by Paul in Romans 16:13 is the son of Simon of Cyrene. Some also link Simon himself with the "men of Cyrene" who preached the Gospel to the Greeks in Acts 11:20. On the other hand, Simon's name alone does not prove he was Jewish, and Alexander and Rufus were both common names and may have referred to others.
A burial cave in the Kidron Valley discovered in 1941 by E. L. Sukenik, belonging to Cyrenian Jews and dating before AD 70, was found to have an ossuary inscribed twice in Greek "Alexander son of Simon". It cannot, however, be certain that this refers to the same person. Only by faith. God's Word Living and Active.

Jesus has the power of God.
And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God.
We have these things because we know him.
Jesus chose us by his glory and goodness,
4 through which he also gave us the very great and rich gifts that he promised us.
With these gifts you can share in being like God. And so you will escape the ruin that comes to people in the world because of the evil things they want.
5 Because you have these blessings, do all you can to add to your life these things: to your faith add goodness;
to your goodness add knowledge
Jesus tells us He fills every dot and iota.
He holds all things in His Hand.
Abba, Father,
Blessed are You, Lord Father our God,
Blessed is Your Son, Jesus.
We ask You to put Your Name,
"Jesus"
upon us
and say, "I will Bless them."
The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you
and give you peace.
Let Your Heavenly Kingdom come,
Let Your Will be done,
on earth
as in Heaven.
Prayers for my sons
and Alexander's job.
Thank You for Your Son's Life,
He has given us immeasurably more
than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us,
To our Father and Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit,
be the glory in the church and
in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,
forever and ever. Amen
Thank You, Jesus, Father and Holy Spirit!
To You, our Father, be the Glory
Our God is an Awesome God! Amen
and Alleluia
in Jesus Christ and His Glory!
Matthew 13:31,32
Jesus put before them another parable: “The Kingdom of Heaven
is like a mustard seed that a man planted in his field.
Although it is the smallest of all seeds,
yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree,
so that the birds of the air come
and
nest in its branches.”
As we are asked to remind God
to bless us with more Heaven on earth,
His Good Will be done.
To You, our Father, be the Glory
Our God is an Awesome God! Amen
and Alleluia
in Jesus Christ and His Glory!
