Moses is just not overly a complainer. But every now and then, heart and truth poured forth. And then Moses would get back to doing what Moses wanted to do exactly. Exactly what we could all hope, fervently pray and revel in, if Jesus Christ would say to us.
Moses was so good at his employment for the Lord, we could consider how Moses understood This Prayer was answered.

Moses placed Faith in God first. Moses found faith to be, like the Sermon I heard today, Faith is:
Courage, Heart, Certainty, Trust, Faithfulness and Expectation God's Promises are True.
Moses knew, we can tell from his heart in Numbers 11, Heaven was reaching down Vertically to really mess with us in all layers. Also the Sermon, I heard today. So - Moses knew all his troubles were from the Hand of God Himself. And Moses felt he could level with God in his own human frailty.
Jesus would recognize this as the Ten Talents, to believe God is Good and rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Faith is listed as ascent. We climb to God as Zacchaeus would hope to glimpse Jesus.
Did Moses see Jesus, other than the Transfiguration?

They came and told us that they had seen a vision of angels, who said he was alive. 24 Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but they did not see Jesus.”
25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.
28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus continued on as if he were going farther.
29 But they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.” So he went in to stay with them.
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.
32 They asked each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
Moses certainly knew the Road to Emmaus.
My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place, declares God. Moses was an abandoned child. He wrote songs, a songwriter. Moses had conflicting aspects of his personality, prince, murderer and Shepherd. Moses had an spokesperson. Moses was Old! Moses lived much Longer! God recognized him in the canon of Scripture as “a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth” Numbers 12:3. In his brokenness, God chose Moses to speak with Him. And God called Moses to him, to die, and Moses had time to prepare.
However unlikely, God called Moses and from the beginning they spoke the same language of the heart.

4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”
13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
Consider, as well, the Nativity Story of Jesus Christ. Abandoned as a Child, placed in a foreign land - the land considering God would bring Heaven to be a possibility. God of All, God walking along the road.
Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid or terrified because of them,
for the Lord your God goes with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you.”
