Mark 2:18-22
18 Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. Some people came and asked Jesus, "How is it that John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?"
19 Jesus answered, "How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? They cannot, so long as they have him with them. 20 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and on that day they will fast.
New wine - being changed by Jesus, seeing our lives as a gift from God and for God, not just another salmon swimming upstream without hope and going through the daily work. Old wine - what is valued, mellowed, cherished. What is Jesus telling us? We cannot change, cannot save ourselves. We cannot do it ourselves. With God all things are possible. Every day, we take our old wine - the things we value, the things the world expects, old hurts, the things that concern us. And we put them before God - the new wine of the Holy Spirit. Then we see His blessings and we thank Him.
Blessed be God, who creates light out of darkness.
We are new creatures in Christ Jesus, not controlled by the old values, but placing ourselves in front of Father God as His children.

God gave us His Written Word. And in doing so, we can trace the Word of God back to 200 B.C. An established written record prevails. Prayer prevails, communicating to God. Marching, sitting, peaceful protesting is a good beginning. Branches, both state and national, want to hear your opinion. Don't forget to email your State and National Congress.
We have generated a vast number of laws in this Nation's History. In Texas, it's illegal to walk your lion down the street. My family, in the past, has an Attorney representing the Dallas Police for five years. He represented them on all types of cases and found 98% to be called to the Police career. Good people. My family believes, because of this close alliance, the Police deserve respect. Like the peaceful protesters.
Respect
The Police were given a great deal military gear and have not deployed this in the Peace Demonstrations and not so peaceful Riots.
The Police in Schools primarily protect students from eager Drug Dealers. We need our children protected.

Millions of pieces of equipment designed for use on a battlefield — such as tanks, bayonets, M-16s, and armored personnel carriers — have been given to domestic police agencies for use on American streets.
2. 1988, Additionally, Congress created The Byrne Grant for police equipment.
The George W. Bush administration had actually begun phasing out the Byrne program. It had been funded at a half-billion dollars per year through most of the Clinton presidency. By the time he left office in 2008, Bush had pared it to $170 million a year. But the grants have long been a favorite of Vice President Joe Biden. And so Obama campaigned on fully restoring their funding, declaring that the Byrne grant program “has been critical to creating the anti-gang and anti-drug task forces our communities need.” On that promise at least, he has delivered. As part of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Obama infused the program with $2 billion, by the far the largest budget in its history.
