If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea
Psalm 139
O Lord, you have searched me and known me!
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You discern my thoughts from afar.
3 You search out my path and my lying down
and
are acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before a word is on my tongue,
Behold,
O Lord,
You know it altogether.
5 You hem me in, behind and before,
and lay Your Hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is high;
I cannot attain it.
7 Where shall I go from Your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from
Your presence?
8 If I ascend to Heaven, You are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol,
You are there!
If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea
Even there Your Hand shall lead me,
and
Your Right Hand shall hold me.
If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and
the light about me be night,”
even the darkness is not dark to You;
the night is bright as the day,
for
darkness is as light with You.
For You formed my inward parts;
You knitted me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are Your works;
my soul
knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
when I was being made in secret,
intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your Eyes saw my unformed substance;
in Your Book were written,
every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet
there was none of them.
How precious to me are Your Thoughts, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 If I would count them,
they are more than the sand.
I awake,
and
I am still with You.
19 Oh that you would slay the wicked, O God!
O men of blood, depart from me!
20 They speak against you with malicious intent;
your enemies take your name in vain!
21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord?
And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?
22 I hate them with complete hatred;
I count them my enemies.
Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see
if there be any grievous way in me,
and
lead me
in the way everlasting!

Job 38:7
While the morning stars sang together
and
all the angels
shouted for joy
We rejoice in the seasons where the burden is lighter and we all pull together.
Blessings shared.
As a nation, we have done something in the past that has blessed us all. Fire Stations accepted children, babies, the little ones when their parents felt they needed to leave them forever.
Locally, during Covid, a baby boy was abandoned at one of our local Fire Station. No questions were asked. And the notice was put in the local paper. Why? One parent might be looking.
And a few years went by and the local newspaper did a tremendous article and photo of Thanksgiving. A couple wanted to celebrate their son was now 3 years old. They had been unable to have children together and the baby left, graciously and generously, at the local Fire Station had been legally adopted in time to celebrate his 3rd Birthday. The parents wanted to share their joy in the mother's decision to safely leave her son to be cared for.
The Fire Station reported the find in the article and said at first shock. And then hope. And now joy.
This is a longtime tradition in Texas.
in Fort Worth since 1887
In 1887, the first “Orphan Train” from the northeast. The Orphan Train Movement transported roughly 200,000 children from the northeast throughout the Midwest and as far west as Texas. And these children were helped with increasing determination to be placed in a family, and Gladney Adoption was created.
Today, often the children placed up for adoption at Gladney are families with too many children who want their latest pregnancy to be adopted to someone Gladney helps. Gladney
creates adoption books, where hopeful parents explain with art and photos of their heart for a child they cannot conceive together. And sometimes the prospective parent(s) looking for an adoptive family also create an art book of dreams for their unborn child.
If you have worked or donated time to Pro Life, you discover there are long term wounds from abortion. The Pro Life Centers, have counselors to embrace the healing and forgiveness of loss inside lives and hearts. Healing is very possible. Forgiveness is the ongoing work of our Father and in Jesus Christ.
People who want to criticize the Bible generally ask, if God is a God of Love, why do we have verses 19-22? Because verse 23 says search me and know me. Because verse 1, the beginning, says God knows us as we really are. And in life, there are times when we are almost ruined by someone else. The lover who leaves when there is a baby conceived. The Boss who fires an expecting parent. The war that kills a family. And we have to know, to have faith, to believe God, our Father, is not a bad psychiatrist asking for pretense of holiness.
Jesus Christ was born in a barn due to the fact Mary was unmarried. She was engaged to be wed, but not wed. The Lord is saying, life is difficult. You can come to The Lord in all circumstances.
And even when we need great help. The Lord identifies Himself as Help, Helper, Comfort, Comforter. You are Loved, as you are.
Abba, Father,
Very much a work of the Lord.
