Genesis 28:10-22 ~ the top reached to Heaven †

 

Shiloh is the first resting place

the traveling Tent of Worship

during the coming time of Moses.

The Ark of the Covenant was here

until the Temple was built in Jerusalem.

The Ark of the Covenant

is

The Mercy Seat of God

Is this Literal?

 No, 

but

 it is understandable in the places of the heart.

Genesis 28:10-22

10 Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran. 

11 And he came to a certain place and stayed there that night, 
because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place to sleep. 

12 And he dreamed, 

and Behold, 

there was a ladder set up on the earth, and the top reached to Heaven.

13 And Behold, the Lord stood above it 

 and said, 

“I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. 

The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring. 

Your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth,

you shall spread abroad to the west 

and to the east and to the north and to the south,

in you and your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

I am with you and will keep you wherever you go,

16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the House of God, and this is the Gate of Heaven.”

We ask Jesus Christ for comfort.

Their experiences spreading out

to increase what Fred Rogers called,

“the helpers” to know they do the work

of God's angels.

and prayed during this tragedy.

Let us pray and pray and pray

for a

MIRACLE

Please, Jesus Christ. 

Miracle of life, be found, please. 

(I read of a woman who had survived

the North Carolina flood, and wasn't found

for a long time because her hip was broken.

She had to rest to get to her brother's home. 

She was not located, she had to rescue herself. 

And did recover.)

Let us continue to Pray

with all our hearts. 

One of Edward's 12-year schoolmates

has lost his wife in the flood.

So Tragic.
