Psalm 116
1 I love the LORD, for He heard my voice;
He heard my cry for mercy.
2 Because He turned His ear to me,
I will call on Him
as long as I live.
3 The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came upon me;
I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
4 Then I called on the Name of the LORD:
"O LORD, save me!"
5 The LORD is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
6 The LORD protects the simple hearted;
when I was in great need,
He saved me.
7 Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the LORD has been good to you.
8 For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death,
my eyes from tears,
my feet from stumbling,
9 that I may walk before the LORD
in the Land of the Living.
I believed; therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted."
11 And in my dismay I said, "All men are liars."
12 How can I repay the LORD for all His goodness to me?
13 I will lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the Name of the LORD.
14 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
in the presence of all His people.
15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of
His saints.
16 O LORD, truly I am Your servant;
I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant;
You have freed me from my chains.
17 I will sacrifice a thank offering to You
and call on the name of the LORD.
18 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD
in the presence of all His people,
19 in the Courts of the House of the LORD
-- in your midst, O Jerusalem.
Praise the LORD.
We continue to pray for all of those putting their efforts into helping the Kerr County, Texas flooding. And those in Ruidoso, New Mexico dealing with their river rising 20 feet. This flood is a daylight flood.
Prayer had kept the Church, beginning in God calling for Light, and in Jesus Christ, to be easily found for ... eight years shy of 2,000 years.
Here is the actual 'rock' slab ceiling that kept these particular bones - intact.
The slab 'rock' that kept out moisture, thieves. Slab (a rock) helping to preserve Peter's body when the others around him were already dust.
The red wall with graffiti saying, This is Peter, follower of Jesus Christ. Identical art was found in Peter's home in Capernaum.

Identical art was found in Peter's home in Capernaum.Peter's grave is 80 feet down; it took 10 years of amazing discoveries before they reached the Peter's area. Most bodies are clearly identified by name, art, poetry, mosaics and statuary. Pius knew they had rediscovered Peter's bones in the 2nd-century grave, surrounded by the 4th-century shrine built by Constantine.

We see glimpses of Heaven,
we receive Comfort
and then we
Comfort others.
Abba, Father,
100 yr old Texas Camp Mystic
and the Kerr County flood.
Today, we pray for the daylight
flooding of Ruidoso, New Mexico to
be gone and for the weather to improve
as the earth
heals from all different aspects
of Post Pandemic.
We ask Jesus Christ for comfort.
for those who mourn.
We ask Jesus Christ for hope and life
for those who wait, healing,
We ask our Father, in the Name of Jesus,
for the blessing of those who Help.
Their experiences spreading out
to increase what Fred Rogers called,
“the helpers” to know they do the work
of God's angels.
Their Blessing
from The Lord on their family.
The Guadalupe River rose 26 feet,
unforecasted dire nighttime emergency, in 45 minutes.
Many girls ages 7-17 have been missing.
Teachers and camp counselors,
Families,
Couples.
We are heartbroken and have cried
and prayed during this tragedy.
1,000 people are searching
Let us pray and pray and pray
for a
MIRACLE
Please, Jesus Christ.
(I read of a woman who had survived
the North Carolina flood, and wasn't found
for a long time because her hip was broken.
She had to rest to get to her brother's home.
She was not located, she had to rescue herself.
And did recover.)
Let us continue to Pray
with all our hearts.
One of Edward's 12-year schoolmates
has lost his wife in the flood.
So Tragic.
We remember
John Wesley said, “The Work of God
continues
His workers go home”
Coinciding
John Wesley never left the Anglican Church
and The Anglican Church
never left
The Roman Catholic Church.
One God,
One Plan
As we think of the Sacrifice
of Jesus Christ
His Love
as He Forgave
We realize
a Thousand Years
are a Day to You.
And Give You Thanks
for
our
Salvation.
God of Light
You are in all things
You are Light of the world
Light of mankind
Light of Heaven
In all Things, You Create
You have given us Jesus Christ
Holy is
the Highest Name
Above
all others
Your Kingdom come
Your Good Will be done
we pray for more
on earth
just as it is in Heaven.
Give us This Day
Our Daily Bread.
Jesus the Living Bread.
Forgive us our Trespasses
as
we forgive those
who Trespass
Against us.
Lead us not into temptation
Deliver us from Evil.
For Thine
is the
Kingdom
and
the Power
and
the Glory.
Please pray for Edward, me and our Poodle.
She came down with a green goo infection, and we doctored her. Our Poodle is much better. Now, ow, I have a sinus infection, pain and fever. Edward is turning all red and is complaining of feeling ill.
We will probably all heal quickly as our Poodle
Your Prayers are Appreciated!
Amen in Jesus Christ
